It was the last night for our Foundation Doctors who were due to rotate the next day. The night was long and difficult and we had many unstable patients however at the end of the 12 hour grueling shift they still wanted to take the traditional photo with the emergency response car and with us emergency medicine doctors. We were all smiles and laughs – this is what Emergency Medicine is – being competent and ready for everything – no matter the hardships or challenges because we will always have a smile on our face and we will always value each other as teamplayers- this makes a difference!
