- Increase survival from major trauma through the development and adoption of standardized approaches.
- Reduce disability and mortality from acute ischemic stroke and heart attack by promoting timely recognition and treatment.
- Improve sepsis survival via early recognition and standardized emergency treatment protocols.=
- Enhance public awareness of emergency medical care to foster understanding, trust, and appropriate use of services.
- Strengthen training for undergraduate medical and nursing students in emergency management, disaster response, and preparedness.
- Promote public education on prevention of life-threatening conditions, including blood pressure and glucose control, early recognition of sepsis, hand hygiene, and the use of seat belts and helmets; collaborate with international initiatives such as the Global Sepsis Alliance, World Trauma Day, World Diabetes Day, and World Stroke Day.
- Ensure safety and protection for emergency medicine teams, by implementing zero-tolerance policies for workplace violence, providing staff support, and fostering a culture of reporting and accountability.
