The symposium brings together specialists and students to discuss major clinical challenges related to extreme environmental conditions and environmental emergencies. Through lectures, case discussions, and expert panels, topics include:
- Cold and heat injuries
- High-altitude medicine
- Drowning
- Radiation injuries
- Air pollution
- Hyperbaric medicine
- Disaster medicine and mass-casualty triage
The goal is to promote interdisciplinary learning in emergency medicine.
